Corporate Partners

Bankers without Borders® is a new Grameen Foundation program utilizing individuals and companies to help break the cycle of global poverty. It is a global network of business professionals and organizations with expertise in a variety of fields – from finance and technology to human resources and marketing. By contributing their time and knowledge, our corporate partners support microfinance and related technology-sector developments around the developing world.

Partnering with Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, and leading universities, Bankers without Borders enables the microfinance sector to learn and apply corporate best practices. We tap the skills of working professionals through short-term volunteer projects that support microfinance and related technology around the globe. We identify unmet needs within the microfinance sector, translate those needs into clearly-defined scopes of work, and specify the expertise and timeframe required for each project. We then turn to our growing community of skilled volunteers to meet those needs, monitoring and evaluating through completion.

We can work with you to develop skill-based volunteer programs and pro bono engagements for your employees and members—programs that leverage your organization's unique talents and experiences. Our turn-key approach helps you achieve your community service objectives, leverage your assets and expertise, and produce measurable results that help improve the lives of the poorest of the poor.
