Finance Manager (Full time, Salaried)  at myAgro (Mali)

Description: For those of you with a Bachelor’s in business, finance, accounting, or management, and fluency in French and English, here is the opportunity for a full time, salaried position as a Finance Manager at a successful non profit. MyAgro is seeking a full time Finance Manager to be based in Bamako, Mali for first 12 months. The Finance Manager and will play a key role in in integrating and executing financial systems, processes as well as operational strategies, priorities and goals. S/he will work in close coordination with the programmatic leadership to ensure the successful execution of financial systems and daily operations at myAgro in Mali and Senegal. As a key member of the management team, the Finance Manager will provide leadership to the myAgro operational and financial management strategy. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that myAgro is completing its work in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner.  There is a minimum time commitment of 24 months, though longer is preferred. Flights to West Africa, housing and travel insurance are included.

Contract Project Manager, Global Good (United States)

Description: Global Good (GG) seeks an experienced contract Project Manager (PM) with a strong understanding of dairy and or agricultural landscapes, and experience working with NGO and developing nations for an 8-week contract. This PM must have experience with on-the-ground foreign logistics planning and coordination and will be tasked with leading small groups of talented technical, business and field-based professionals, while simultaneously leveraging a much larger group of indirect constituents such as technical and business experts from multiple organizations residing a different countries. Must be able to work either in Bellevue, WA office for six weeks (can also work remotely if not in the Washington state area with a few paid trips to meet GG staff) and a paid trip for two weeks to Kenya, Africa.

Financial Analyst and Strategist at myAgro (Mali)

Description: This is an excellent opportunity for a financial management professional to volunteer their skills and help a rapidly scaling award-winning social enterprise/non profit in West Africa. MyAgro is rapidly scaling to working with 75,000 farmers in the next 5 years.  In light of this we need to improve our financial and operations systems. The volunteer would be working directly with program leadership to further develop and tune a financial system that integrates financial operations in the Mali office with US reporting requirements. The volunteer would also be involved in educating the local finance staff on these systems as well as other finance and accounting best practices. Proficiency in oral and written French is essential. Please note that this is a 3 month full time role. Local accommodation will be provided as well as lunch on weekdays.

Data Analyst - TaroWorks Tool Data Validation Project (United States)

Description: Grameen Foundation is seeking a Moody's volunteer with data validation expertise to assist with a project aimed at defining a methodology for validating the Progress out of Poverty Index data collected via the TaroWorks tool. Initial work will entail advising the Grameen Foundation team on two main tasks:  1) defining what level of verification is needed, and 2) defining the specific validation options. Further phases of the project will be focused on testing, evaluating, and implementing the data validation strategy. This statement of work is subject to change as the validation testing progresses. The volunteer’s involvement and time commitment will be more substantial during the beginning and ending phases of the project, mainly determining the data validation options to test, and assessing the results following completion of the tests.  Up to 3-4 hours per week during the planning phases in February and March may be needed, with less time required in the remaining phases through July 2014.
